Young Entrepreneurs in Science: online workshop 24 February 2022


Kiel University (CAU) is certified partner in the BMBF-funded “Young Entrepreneurs in Science” (YES) project of the Falling Walls Foundation gGmbH Berlin. The target group are doctoral researchers and postdocs of all disciplines without startup experience who would like to gain first insights into the topic.  After hosting three successful workshops in 2020 and 2021, the Center for Entrepreneurship (ZfE) at Kiel University has succeeded in bringing the workshop series to Schleswig-Holstein again – this time in cooperation with the GründerCube Lübeck. The online workshop will be held in English and blocked over two days (24 and 25 February 2022, 9 am to 5 pm). The schedule is as follows:

Day 1 (Thursday, 24 February 2022)

Session 1: From Phd to Sciencepreneur (with Christina Wittke from MyStandards and Benjamin Kern from mobOx) (2h)

Session 2: Ideation: How to turn your PhD into a startup idea (2h)

Session 3: Prototyping: How to make your idea tangible and test its critical function (2h)

 

Day 2 (Friday, 25 February 2022)

Session 4: Testing, Feedback and Iteration (1h)

Session 5: Your Online Pitch (Jury: Axel Koch, head of transfer at CAU and Vice President of TransferAllianz as well as Prof. Dr. Christian W. Scheiner, holder of the Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Business Development at Lübeck University)  (2h)

Session 6: Intrapreneurship and Corporate Innovation (with Dräger GARAGE) (3h)
