Audrey Zammit (University of Malta)
About her
My role within the Oceanography Malta Research Group, at the University of Malta, is to manage the data generated by our activities, present this data to the public and promote the sharing of data in European data infrastructures, such as EMODnet, SeaDataNet and COPERNICUS.
Meaning and value of Open Science
Open Science is a framework that encourages scientists to publicise their research both within the scientific community and with the general public. This leads to more resources pooling together to produce robust results more efficiently.
Expectations for reSEArch-EU
reSEArch-EU can help train a generation of Open Science Ambassadors who will in turn spread the open science culture, initially within their own institutions, and eventually, beyond.
