Research Ethics

According to article 19 of the Regulation (EU) No 1291/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013 establishing Horizon 2020 – the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020), every project funded under the Horizon 2020 Programme must abide by ethical principles and relevant legislation to protect the legitimate rights of people involved in the project’s research activities.

In compliance with such a provision, the reSEArch-EU Project translates its commitment to research ethics into a thorough self-assessment of research practices implemented where different ethical issues might arise. This Ethics Self-Assessment has been sent to the European Commission by the seventh month of the project – July 2021.
