Lilian M. Azzopardi is a Professor and Head of Department of Pharmacy, and Chairperson of the Doctoral Committee within the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, university of Malta. She completed her PhD studies in the area of quality systems. Her area of research is pharmacy practice.  She has published several papers and books mainly related to quality systems, clinical pharmacy and pharmacy education. Lilian M. Azzopardi received research awards by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy.  She is a member of the Advisory Group of the Academic Institutional Membership (AIM) within FIP. Professor Azzopardi serves as President of the European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy
