European Researchers’ Night – KIEL

The University of Kiel organized different activities about scientific information for citizens in a relaxed atmosphere during the European Researchers’ Night in Kiel on 29 September 2023.

With the Science Show, young researchers show WHAT they are doing at the university, HOW they do it and WHY: What personalities are behind the research topics? In the SEA EU-Science Show we welcome guests from our partner universities at coastal locations in Europe, who will report in English language about their research there.

Visitors work through 3 activities to get their SEA-EU microcredential and they can collect a certificate at the beginning of the event, and collect a stamp for each completed activity.

  • Station 1: This is the Europa Game. The partner cards are in the game box separate from all other cards. Visitors use the grid cards and markers to locate the cities. Visitors can solve 1 – 9 cards.
  • Station 2: “SEA-EU is multiligual and multicultural”. Card game is in envelope in one of the boxes. Match the dark blue cities to the light blue greetings.
  • Station 3: “SEA-EU is research and knowledge…..”Computer / Keyboard / Mouse and Screen need to be set-up to display : https://europe.digicruise.uni-kiel.de/
