reSEArch-EU - European University of the Seas

Gemma Davies, originally from the UK, has been living and working in France for over 20 years. She has a scientific background and her main task is to assist researchers with calls for projects. She is also the Open Science officer and ORDO nominated for the University of Brest.

Open science means to her the democratising of science, with information being more accessible and research more transparent.

She believes that the reSEArch EU project is a motor for Open Science at the alliance Universities. Mutualising resources and the integration of different working environments’, will benefit all members and create favourable grounds for future scientific collaborations.
