Liana Ermakova (University of Western Brittany)

About her

I have been nominated as the Open Science Ambassador by University of Brest as I am working on data creation, sharing as well as their re-use within international evaluation campaigns, such as CLEF. I have also worked on scientometrics and text simplification.

Meaning and value of Open Science

Open Science is a way to share and accumulate knowledge and data, to provide comparable, critical and objective results.

Expectations for reSEArch-EU

Open Science is a challenging problem and therefore it requires establishing common policy between the SEA-EU partners. The reSEArch-EU project will allow us to engage more colleagues in Open Science by overcoming the existing challenges and showing its direct benefits for the research.
