Open Science Presentations in Laboratories

On the 6th of june, ORDO Gemma Davies gave an introductory session on Open Science to the
Genetics, functionnal genomics and biotechnology lab, during their monthly team meeting.
Approximatively 50 people were present, including master trainees, doctoral students, post-doctoral
students, technical support staff, researchers and teacher-researchers.

The purpose of the event was to introduce the key principles of OS and formally introduce a member
of the laboratory, Tanguy Haute, as OSA.

The presentation adressed the following topics : Open access, Signature of publications, Open data,
the Legal framework, Data dissemination and Resources.

Participants were encouraged to reach out to their local Open Science Ambassador, Data Protection
Officer and Open Research Data Officers of the university to build their DMP and should they require
any further information.
