Workshop at event Days of e-infrastructure DEI

Participants: Ljiljana Poljak
Date: 6 – 7 April 2022
Format: Online

Description

The primary goal of these courses was to raise awareness in the Croatian research community about the importance of effective data management throughout the research data life cycle. To succeed, a cultural shift in the research community is needed to motivate researchers to practice RDM actively, as they are the primary data producers and users.

The courses aimed to spread knowledge about making research data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable on national and international levels. The training program consisted of six courses covering topics such as RDM introduction, FAIR principles, metadata description, data organization, managing sensitive data, and publishing/reusing data. Participants can access these courses for free and earn digital badges and certifications upon successful completion, making these resources valuable for students, educators, and anyone interested in RDM.
