Last Thursday 4 November took place the kick-off meeting of the Spin-Off Competence Lab, an activity that is to be conducted by the SEA-EU Alliance in the framework of the reSEArch-EU Project.
The Spin-Off Competence Lab intends to develop a competence laboratory focused on offering virtual training to early stage researchers to boost their management, entrepreneurship and soft skills. At the end of this project, the Competence Lab will have a complete, fully-functioning learning programme based on identified needs of our academic communities. This activity is closely related to others in reSEArch-EU, such as the SEA-EU Academy and the SEA-INNOVATE HUB.
As a first step, the task team involved in the creation of the Spin-Off Competence Lab will disseminate a survey among young researchers in the universities that compose the SEA-EU Alliance, so that they can get to know what are the needs of such a target group in the field of entrepreneurship and spin-off management.
