Migration and human rights webinars within SEA EU Talent has been successfully held 22 November 2023
On 22th November a new session of the SEA EU Talent was held about “Migration and human rights” and was presented by Mariia Iankovaia, the technical manager of reSEArch EU Project from University of Cádiz.
The reception of migrants is a European reality on which SEA-EU has the ambition to develop a determined action. The maritime and port nature of all the partner institutions of SEA-EU, integrated into trade networks, has placed them at the heart of the migration issue since time immemorial. SEA-EU therefore believes that it has a real legitimacy to address this issue among its priorities.
Then, in this session of the “SEA EU TALENT” initiative, first presentation was carried out by Cristian Sánchez belonging to University of Cadiz tittled: Immigration, criminal law and human rights. In the second hand, Pierre-Edouard Weill was presented his webinar about Defending French national employment or posted workers’ rights?
Both contributions were very interesting and with high relevance for society in general.
After the interventions of the speakers, an interesting round of questions began among the participants exchanging very relevant aspects.
Thank you very much to all participants. We hope you liked the activity and we are sure that interesting synergies and collaborations will emerge between these young researchers and participants.
If you want to see the session again, you have it available on our YouTube channel.
